Gemma McIndoe
Solicitor, LLB (Hons)

Gemma was born in Brisbane and lived on the Gold Coast before relocating to Bundaberg in 2024 to be closer to family and join the VAJ Byrne & Co team.

She completed a Bachelor of Laws with Honours at the Queensland University of Technology in 2021 and her Diploma of Legal Practice in 2023.

Gemma has years of experience as a family law and domestic violence paralegal for a community legal centre prior to being admitted as a solicitor to the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2024. She believes a trauma informed approach to legal practice is very important and takes this approach with all of her clients.

Gemma practices primarily in family law, but also assists with Domestic Violence matters and Wills.

In her spare time, Gemma enjoys spending time in nature or finding new brunch spots with her family and friends.
