Ryan commenced his employment with V.A.J. Byrne & Co. Lawyers in January 2015.
He was born in Gladstone and spent his childhood in a remote community in the Northern Territory and in Central Queensland. After concluding his high school education in Mackay he attended James Cook University in Townsville, obtaining his qualification in 2015. He now lives in Bundaberg with his young family and during his time off enjoys helping on the family farm, fishing and spending time with his family.

In 2022 Ryan became Legal Practitioner Director of VAJ Byrne & Co. Lawyers and manages the Bundaberg office where he regularly practices in Personal Injury Law, Wills, Estate planning and Estate Litigation. He continues to service the Gladstone Region remotely and working in the Gladstone office one day per week.

Ryan is passionate about regional Queensland and strives to provide exceptional services to those living in the regions. He is a Rotarian and prides himself on giving back to the community.

In 2020 Ryan obtained a Master of Laws (Applied Law) with a dual Major in Estate Planning and Wills and Estates, allowing him to expertly serve the specific and varying needs of client’s from Regional Queensland.

Ryan’s qualifications make him one of the regions most qualified experts in succession law. Coupled with his regional ties and upbringing, Ryan is well placed to expertly serve the unique and varying needs of regional clients.
